TCP/IP Setting Manual

1.      Open Control Panel.

 

2.      When you open Control Panel, select Network and Internet.

3.      When you open Network and Internet you must select Network and Sharing Center from the drop-down menu.

 

4.      Your list of internet connections will show once you open Network and Sharing Center whether you use Wi-Fi or ethernet is up to you. In this case, I am using Wi-Fi network Kediaman_Pelajar.

 

 

5.      A Wi-Fi Status pop-up box will display, select Properties.

 

6.      Click on Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4).

7.      Next, click on Properties on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).

8.      Change the setting from Obtain an IP address automatically to Use the following IP address to configure the IP address. The IP address obtained from Subnetting Calculation is then used to enter for the ULearn System Server.

IP address: 192.168.10.166

Subnet Mask: 255.255.240.0

Default Gateway: 192.168.10.161

 

The preferred DNS server will use the same IP as the default gateway, which is 192.168.10.161. We will be using Google's DNS server, which is 8.8.8.8, as the Alternate DNS Server. Then, click OK.

 

9.      Click on close.
